Why? Why not!?!

"I work in Sales..."

It’s been quite a busy past few weeks at work. I’ve easily logged more work hours in the past 3 weeks than should be legal… being a salaried employee surely sucks.

Anyway, we had a picnic today for the dedication of a scoreboard in honor of a student who passed away. The day ended up being pretty, but yesterday, we weren’t quite so sure.

So, in a joking manner, I asked the school’s chaplain if he could use his “connections” to get us a nice day. His response was as funny as anything I’ve recently heard:

“I work in Sales, not in management!”

How clever and hilarious! Methinks I’ll never forget that line!
